This Privacy Policy explains how NeedMoreFunds (“NeedMoreFunds,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit needmorefunds.com or submit a loan request. NeedMoreFunds is not a lender. We help connect consumers with lenders and lending partners.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details: first and last name, email address, mobile phone number and ZIP code.
- Loan request details: the amount you'd like to borrow, what the loan is for, your estimated credit rating and your approximate yearly income.
- Anything you tell us when you contact us or make a privacy request.
We do not ask for your Social Security number, bank account numbers or date of birth on this website.
Information collected automatically
- Your IP address, approximate location (country and state, based on IP), browser and device type, the page that referred you, campaign tags in the link you used, and the date and time of your visit.
- A record of the consent you gave, including the exact wording shown to you, the time you agreed and your IP address.
We use only the cookies and similar technologies needed to run the site. If we add advertising or analytics tools in the future, we will update this policy first.
How we use your information
- To review your loan request and help match you with lenders and lending partners who may be able to offer you a loan.
- To contact you about your request by phone, text message and email, as you agreed.
- To keep records of your consent and of our communications with you.
- To prevent fraud, spam and misuse of our site.

How we share your information
We share your information with:
- Lenders and lending partners, including lending networks and companies that connect consumers with lenders, so they can review your request and contact you about loan options. These companies use your information under their own privacy policies.
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting, data storage, phone and text messaging, and email providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Legal and safety recipients when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect our rights, our users or others from fraud or harm.
- A buyer or successor if our business is sold, merged or reorganized.
We may be paid when we share your information with lenders and lending partners. Under some state laws, such as California's, this may be considered a “sale” of personal information. You can opt out at any time on our Your Privacy Choices page. Once a lender has received your information, its own privacy policy applies, and you should contact that lender directly to make choices about it.
Calls, text messages and email
If you agreed to be contacted, we may call and text the phone number you gave us about your loan request, including with automated technology and prerecorded or artificial voice messages. Your consent is not required to obtain any loan or other product. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP, and you can ask us to stop calling you at any time. You can unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any email. We do not sell or share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with third parties for their own text-message marketing.
How long we keep information
We keep your information for as long as needed to respond to your request, keep required records of consent and communications, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations, and then delete or de-identify it.
How we protect information
Our site uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections and we limit access to personal information to people and service providers who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon and other states with consumer privacy laws, you may have the right to:

To make a request, use our Your Privacy Choices page or email privacy@needmorefunds.com. We will need to verify your request by matching the information you give us to our records. You may use an authorized agent where your state law allows. We won't discriminate against you for using your privacy rights. We treat Global Privacy Control browser signals as a request to opt out of sale or sharing for that browser. When you submit a loan request and ask us to share your information with lenders, that sharing is at your direction so we can provide the service you asked for.
Some information collected by lenders in connection with a loan may be covered by the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and the lender's own privacy notice instead of this policy.
California notice at collection
In the past 12 months we have collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address); personal information described in Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e) (name, phone, approximate income); commercial information (the loan you're interested in); internet activity (pages visited, referrer, device information); and approximate geolocation (ZIP code and IP-based location). We collect it from you and your device for the purposes listed above, and we disclose it to the recipients listed above. We may sell or share identifiers, § 1798.80(e) information and commercial information with lenders and lending partners. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would give you the right to limit its use.
Children
Our site is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version here and change the “Last updated” date. If changes are significant, we'll provide a more prominent notice.
